La chaussée des Géants se situe dans le Comté d'Antrim sur la côte nord-est de l'Irlande du Nord, à environ 3 km au nord-est de la ville Bushmill.
Le site est inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO depuis 1986 et il est classé réserve naturelle nationale en 1987 par le Département de l'Environnement d'Irlande du Nord. C'est une zone d'environ 40 000 colonnes, le résultat d'une ancienne éruption volcanique.
The Giant's Causeway is located in County Antrim on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland, about 3 km northeast of the town of Bushmills; It was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1986, and a National Nature Reserve in 1987 by the Department of Environment of Northern Ireland. It’s an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption.
