Un musée racontant l'histoire du Titanic ouvrira ses portes en 2012 à Belfast, lieu où avait été construit le navire britannique avant de couler en 1912.


A museum telling the story of the Titanic will open in March 2012 in Belfast, the place where British boat had been built before sailing away in 1912.

Le gouvernement de la province britannique a approuvé officiellement le financement public du musée, à hauteur de 100 millions de livres (119 millions d'euros).
Construit sur le site des chantiers navals qui avaient donné naissance au géant des mers, le musée devrait recevoir la visite de 400.000 personnes par an, selon les autorités.

The gouvernement of the British district approved officially the public financing of the museum, up to 100 million pounds. Built on the site of the shipyards who gave birth to the giant of seas, the museum should receive 400 000 peoples per year.


2012 est le centième anniversaire du naufrage du Titanic, qui avait fait 1.500 morts. Le navire, pourtant réputé insubmersible, avait coulé après avoir heurté un iceberg dans l'océan Atlantique.

2012 is the 100th anniverary of the shipwreck of the Titanic, which cost 1500 deaths. The ship, however, which should be unsinkable, had sunk after hitting an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean.
